Centerpoint Elementary

This new 60,000 square foot facility replaces the outdated buildings at Glenwood. The elementary includes 26 new classrooms, fine arts, computer lab, music room, cafeteria, administration spaces, gym, and library. Playful colors, textures, and offset materials were utilized throughout the school designating spaces and classrooms for the students. This type of interactive way-finding is an inventive and engaging form of way-finding creating unique experiences for new and returning students. Careful consideration was given to placement on the site for glazing and how the traffic would flow in and around the site. Car pickup/drop-off is located in the front, and a separate bus loading area is in the rear.  Playgrounds will be located on the sides away from roadways.
