David graduated from the University of Arkansas, School of Architecture in 1980. After receiving his Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, he joined Sasaki Associates in Boston as a design architect where his focus was on master planning design and college/university design. In 1985, he relocated to the Dallas office and continued work with Sasaki Associates.  David returned to his hometown, Hot Springs, in 1987 where he began French Architects. He has been responsible for cutting edge design and new construction of a wide range of projects including small residential renovations, new high-end residential homes, to multi-million dollar commercial projects.


David is very active in the community as well as in his profession.  He has served as the past-president for the Arkansas Chapter of the American Institute of Architects and the Fifty for the Future of Hot Springs Leadership Hot Springs and Clinton Cultural Campus.  He is currently the Past President of the State Board of Architects and also serves on the Fay Jones School of Architecture Advisory Board.
