JORGE ZOU / ASSOCIATE AIA
Jorge is originally from Guatemala City, Guatemala, where he earned his bachelor degree in architecture from Universidad Rafael Landívar, which included a year of architectural studies at Fay Jones School of Architecture at the University of Arkansas.
Jorge relocated from Guatemala to Washington, D.C. where he later earned his Masters of Architecture from the University of the District of Columbia.His thesis was on a Farming Preschool and earned him the CAUSES Aspirations award for research committed to health & wellness and food & water securities and committed to local relevance. During his master’s program, Jorge worked at the Architectural Research Institute developing designs for single-family and multi-family housing.
Jorge Joined French Architects in 2018 and he is passionate about contemporary, elegant and beautiful design. His responsibilities within the firm have grown over the years and he is currently working on his path to become a licensed Architect.
In his free time, Jorge enjoys biking, travel, photography and exploring all kinds of cuisine.
