Hot Springs New High School

Hot Springs School District opened its new high school for their 10th-12th grade students in the spring of 2025.  The new high school was built on the existing soccer field on the high school campus.  The old high school was demolished in the summer of 2025 just shortly after the opening of the new high school.

The new high school building consists of three sections; main, connecting and classroom.  It is approximately 140,000 square feet in area and three stories tall. The main section is used for public gathering and includes a dining space, a cafeteria, administration and collaboration stairs which act as the student hub. The connection wing contains shared spaces and special services while the classroom section mirrors the design of its sister building on campus, the Junior High Academy, and houses most of the classrooms, academics, labs and core curricula spaces.

In April of 2025 Phase II of the campus improvements began.  Phase II consists of the construction a new gym/storm shelter that will be connected to the existing gym as well as a new soccer/football field and six new tennis courts for the district.  These improvements are slated to be completed by the summer of 2026.
